The size guide
Many of the leading shirtmakers have fits that resemble each other. Therefore you should always go with the size you normally wear.
If you are normally a size Slim Fit 40 (M) then go with that. We offer lots of sizes, so we are quite confident that we can find the right size for you as well.

How to measure
1. NECK
Open the shirt and lay the collar flat. Measure straight from the button to the centre of the buttonhole.
2. CHEST
Place the shirt flat with buttons closed. Measure 1 cm below the armhole. Measure from side to side and double the measurement.
*Add 5-6 cm for a slim fit.
3. WAIST
Place the shirt flat with buttons closed. Measure from side to side and double the measurement. The waist is located at the slimmest part of the shirt around button no. 3 from the bottom.
*Add 5-6 cm for a slim fit.
4. LENGTH
Measure from the bottom of the collar to bottom of the shirt.
5. SLEEVE LENGTH
Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

You can compare with other shirt brands as follows:

In general, our sizes and fit are very similar to other Scandinavian brands such as Eton (slim fit / contemporary fit) and Stenströms (slim fit / fitted body). So if you know your size in one of these, you can safely choose the same size in BARONS.
Slim fit: Our slim fit is tailored and fits the slim and / or normally built man.
Super Slim fit: Our tightest and most snug fit.
Slim fit Extra Long: Same fit as our slim fit, but with 3-4 cm extra length on the sleeves and in the vertical lentgh of your shirt.
Contemporary fit: Our contemporary fit is still tailored but has a but more lentgh around the waist. This shirt is for the man who enjoys all the good things in life. Or for the man who likes more comfort.
The primary difference of resp. slim fit and contemporary fit is the chest and abdomen width.
Yes. Our Slim Extra Long fit is 4 cm longer on the sleeves and in the body length itself.
At the moment, Extra Long is only available in Slim fit.
